Our world-class instructors provide stimulating, entertaining lectures that motivate students to master the game of chess. Our core team is made up of International Master Dean Ippolito, a woman’s Fide Master, several National Masters and other Nationally ranked instructors. Interactive lectures coupled with supervised play provide the appropriate reinforcement for the concepts introduced at each lecture.
Our team of Elite Instructors will be led by NJ Chess Teacher of the Year, International Master of Chess Dean Ippolito and includes many other nationally ranked players and award winning coaches.
Camp begins with evaluation of playing ability. Post-camp written evaluation will be completed to show progress made at camp. Students will be grouped based upon age, experience, instructor evaluation and session option.
Our instructor: student ratio will allow for much individualized attention. Concepts are taught in an entertaining manner and are reinforced with worksheets, practice games, analysis and a variety of other effective methods.
A tournament will be held at the close of the camp with trophies awarded to the top individuals of each section.
A pizza party will be held after the award ceremony.
Camp Refund Policy: A full refund minus a $25 service fee is given if cancellation request is received 30 days before camp. After this, refunds will not be given. If a child is sick and is unable to attend the camp, a doctor’s note is required for a refund minus service fee to be given.
